Thank you for choosing to stay at Silver Ridge. When you made your booking you entered into a legal binding agreement with us. Please read all our Terms & Conditions of booking below.

Price, Payment & Deposit:

The price includes Bed & full English breakfast, all extras are additional.

We accept cash or card payments, no charge for Debit Cards; however a 2% charge will be added to all Credit Card payments. We do not accept Diners or Amex.

On booking, a non-refundable deposit will be charged to the card given. The amount is the first nights’ accommodation for each room.


Unfortunately pets are not permitted.

Cancellation & Insurance:

Once you have booked your stay our agreement is a legal contract and any deposit paid is nonrefundable. If you need to cancel please contact us immediately.

For cancellations made up to 7 days before your booking, you will not be liable for the balance. For cancellations made after this time, failing to take up the booking without cancelling, or cutting short your stay, you will be liable for the total amount. For this reason you may wish to take out cancellation insurance, which is inexpensive and can be obtained from any good Broker.


We would only cancel your booking if your accommodation was unavailable for reasons beyond our control and all money paid by you would be refunded in full. Our liability would not extend beyond this refund.

Arrival & Departure:

Check-in is between the hours of 4.00pm & 7.00pm on your day of arrival. Please note, late arrival is only accepted with prior notification and we do not check-in after 9.00pm, as this is disruptive for other guests. Please be ready to vacate your room by 10.30am on the day of departure. Your bill for your accommodation and any extras is payable on departure.


Breakfast is served in the Dining Room between 8.30am and 9.30am, at a time of your choice. Early breakfast requests will be considered and must be mentioned at the time of booking.

Room Valet:

Your room will be serviced each day of your stay, providing it is vacated by 11.OOam.

Use of Silver Ridge and it’s Grounds

At Check-in all guests are given a key and may come and go as they please throughout the duration of their stay. For security we ask that the Main Guests Entrance is kept locked at all times. All facilities are for the use of paying guests only.

Damages & Breakages

Please take care with our home. The person making the booking is responsible and liable for any breakages or damages which are caused to the accommodation or its contents. Please report these as soon as they occur, we do not normally charge for any minor breakages but you will be charged for repair or making good if the damage or breakage is significant. Any deliberate damage will result in instant removal from Silver Ridge and full payment for all damages and booking costs will be charged.

Liability & Data:

We do not accept any liability for any damage, loss or injury to any member of your party or any vehicles or possessions unless proven to be caused by a negligent act by ourselves or our employees or contractors while acting in the course of employment. Any data gathered during the course of this booking may be held on computer.

Payment Details

For all bookings we require a deposit of the cost of the first nights accommodation. This must be made payable by card payment to confirm the booking. We will send you an email or letter confirming the booking and letting you know what the outstanding balance is. The balance is due on departure.

Any bookings made online, a deposit will be collected within 48 Hrs.
